Purpose
FarmAde  is a great opportunity for community groups to connect with each other and the greater UBC and Vancouver community.  The objective of the community groups section is to bring students and community into contact with information and organizations that enhance our knowledge of local food culture and sustainability practices. If your group would be interested in having a table at the Festival, please fill out this application.

Acceptance Guidelines
In accordance with the purpose and policy, FarmAde only allows groups who:
-are not-for-profit, charitable, or otherwise not a money making corporate entity.
-are appropriate for the diverse audience and age range of the festival goers, especially children.
-We have a small committee who decides if a group is appropriate for the Festival (ie, meets the above guidelines).  We reserve the right to refuse an application that does not align with the FarmAde or the UBC Farm mandate.

Participant Responsibilities
Community groups are asked to provide their own tent if they desire a tent. We will supply one 6 or 8’ table and 2 chairs per group. (we do not charge for booth space)

10x10 spaces for each group will be clearly marked. We ask that your group can have the table staffed from 3pm until 8pm. Set up begins at 1:30. We ask that your booth is set up by 3pm unless you have made another arrangement with us.

Please keep your display appropriate to the diversity of Festival goers, especially children.  We encourage all community organizations to create an interactive and engaging booth.

Groups are asked to keep their displays contained to the area provided for them. If you have any special programming or workshop activities planned for your space please include an outline of these in your application. We want to ensure that any community service programming does not conflict with FarmAde programming.

We hope that you join us!
