During the event, readers volunteer to read selections (about 10 minutes) from banned books at one of three stages. Check here if you want to be a reader.

To help manage the stages, we need people to sign up to be Coordinators, reminding others when their time to read is coming up and alerting readers that their time allotment is coming to an end.

Every few readings or so, we have "roving" musicians who provide musical interludes. There is also a stationary piano in the main room. If you'd like to help provide music, please check here.

We have a café of sorts where participants can get coffee and food selections. Please check here if you'd like to volunteer to staff the café for a shift during the event.

For our young adults, we offer a craft table and other such activities. If you'd like to volunteer to help for a shift, please check here.

Our café provides donated cookies, cakes, or finger foods. Click here if you'd like to donate a food item
