REGISTER FOR THE 2026 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE.The
Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Association – Alliance (REEEA-A), umbrella body of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Associations in Nigeria is hosting its 5th International Conference on Renewable Energy & Efficiency.
Access to clean, affordable, and reliable energy remains a critical driver of sustainable development. Despite global progress, millions—particularly across developing regions—still lack access to modern energy services. At the same time, the urgency of climate change demands a rapid transition toward renewable energy and improved energy efficiency.
Building on the success of previous conferences, the 5th International Conference seeks to deepen dialogue and strengthen partnerships that will accelerate progress toward universal energy access. The theme,
“Accelerating Collective Action and Strategic Partnerships for Equitable Clean Energy Access” reflects the need for coordinated efforts among governments, private sector actors, development partners, academia, and civil society to bridge energy access gaps while ensuring inclusivity and sustainability.
The conference aims to:
- Promote collaborative approaches to scaling renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions.
- Strengthen strategic partnerships among key stakeholders in the energy sector.
- Share best practices, innovations, and lessons learned in advancing clean energy access.
- Advocate for inclusive policies that ensure equitable access to clean energy, particularly for underserved and vulnerable populations.
- Mobilize investments and financing opportunities for sustainable energy initiatives.
With a targeted attendance of about 1000 people drawn from across public and private sectors in the renewable energy sector, the Conference will bring together key stakeholders—policymakers, investors, energy developers, and civil society leaders—to re-chart a path forward for Nigeria’s energy transition, focusing on sustaining renewable energy solutions such as solar, small hydro, natural gas, and hydrogen, along with local content development, grid interconnection, and financing solutions.
Conclusion The 5th International Conference of the REEEA-Alliance provides a strategic platform to drive collective action and build impactful partnerships for advancing equitable clean energy access. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, the conference will contribute to shaping a sustainable and inclusive energy future for all.
