Rip 'n Bitch Workshop
This is a companion workshop to Lindsey de Roos' upcoming exhibition at Window Gallery, Defining the means. Lindsey's project examines what it means to exist within a neoliberal capitalist university context, exploring potential sites for contestation, slowness, and community within an extractive system of education. The Rip 'n Bitch workshop is an integral part of this process.

Students are invited to bring along old notes, printed essays, and other university paraphernalia which have long lost their value as 'evidence documents'. We will be ripping this paper over some yummy kai and kōrero. These materials will then be used in the art-making process for this exhibition.

Once the show has concluded all paper will be bound into notebooks and returned to the students involved, as a thank you and a platform for renewed thinking.

Date: Monday 29th of July 2024.
Time: 11am – 2pm (drop in any time)
Where: Window Gallery - the foyer of the University of Auckland General Library (Building 109/5 Alfred Street).
Attendance is free and open to all current students or recent graduates.
