Want to get your first real estate deal funded?

Schack Tank is an opportunity to pitch a deal you've found and analyzed to a panel of experienced investors who have the capital to fund great deals. 

Who can participate?

  • Individual students or teams (up to 4)
  • Pitch a specific deal or strategic thesis focused on a location and asset type
  • Thursday, April 3, 5:30pm at the Midtown Campus.

What kind of deals can you pitch?

Pitches can range from $50K to $10 MM in total deal size. Your deal can take many forms, including but not limited to:

  • Acquiring and renovating a brownstone or multifamily property
  • Purchasing land to develop and sell a house, duplex, or triplex
  • Repositioning a retail or industrial property
  • Executing a fix-and-flip strategy
  • Converting office space into residential units
  • Other creative real estate investments that fit the "emerging developer" theme

The Pitch

  • Pitch your deal to a panel of 4 investors who actively fund projects
  • 10-minute presentation with slides
  • Required information: Sources and Uses, Pro Forma, Budget, Marketing Plan, Market Analysis 
  • Other entrepreneurial Schack students will be in the audience
  • Viewers will sign an NDA if presenters request confidentiality
