Doha College Community Desert Clean - Singing Sand Dunes - Friday 17th January 2025
ITINERARY FROM DEAP:
2:45pm Arrival to the meeting point. PLEASE BE ON TIME.
2:45-4:00pm Cleanup activities.
4:00-5:00pm Social time, enjoy our surroundings and a beautiful sunset.
5:00pm end of the event. People leave whenever they want. 

***Every participant/volunteer acknowledges that not DeapQatar, nor any of its volunteers is responsible for the actions, the consequences of these actions, and the well being of participants en route, during, and after the cleanup. All volunteers acknowledge the risks associated with the cleanup and being outdoors in nature and the wilderness. All responsibility relies on each volunteer attending.     

DETAILS / WHAT TO BRING:
-Volunteers must have their own transportation. Sedans can reach but SUV is recommended for this location.
-Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
-Gloves 🧤 and bags will be provided.
-Please dress PROPERLY: Dress comfortably and let’s be respectful of the local culture. Shoulders and knees covered. Long shorts or pants are ok. Abayas and Thobes ok.
-Don’t forget sun protection.  
-Bring your own food and drinks. We encourage people to bring reusable water bottles and a refill station. Feel free to bring something to share (not mandatory), but please make sure it is something that’s not too heavily packaged so we produce less waste (practice what we preach).
-There are NOT any toilets 🚽 or facilities at the dunes. However, there’s always a petrol station nearby.
