Owner Representation and Acknowledgment:
★ Owner represents that they are the legal owner of the dog listed above and wish to participate in the
Weiner Dog Race. Owner acknowledges that their private insurance is the only insurance coverage
available for any injuries related to their dog(s). Owner is responsible for any damage to persons or
property caused by their dog(s) during the Event. Lost Street Brewing Co., LLC (LSBC) will not be
responsible for costs related to misbehaved animals.
Release and Waiver of Liability:
★ Owner releases and forever discharges LSBC, its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, partners,
and affiliates (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims related to their dog's participation in the
Event. Owner agrees not to sue for any claims and to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties
from any claims arising from their participation in the Event. Claims include any past, present, and future
claims, losses, costs, expenses, liabilities, demands, or legal actions, including attorney’s fees and court
costs. Owner consents to the use of their name, photo, video, and any images of their dog(s) for publicity
purposes.
Rules and Requirements:
★ Owner must be 18 years of age or older to participate, or a legal guardian must be present at the event.
Proof of ownership may be required.
★ All dogs participating must be Dachshunds weighing no more than 35lbs.
★ All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations.
★ Dogs must be accompanied by two people: one at the starting gate and one at the finish line.
○ Race Tip: The person at the finish line should stand about 4 feet behind the line to encourage the dog to
finish.
★ Dogs must be on a leash at all times except during their race. After their heat, they must be leashed
immediately.
★ Any dog that bites another dog or human will be disqualified and asked to leave the premises.
★ Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Multiple doggie clean-up stations are available.
★ Owners may bring their dog's favorite toy to entice them to the finish line. However:
○ The toy must stay in the owner's hand; throwing toys into the arena is strictly prohibited and will result in
disqualification.
○ No food, treats, laser pointers, or lights may be used during the race.
★ The total number of heats will be determined by the number of registrants. Upon check-in, owners will
receive their heat race time.
○ The 1st place winner from each heat will advance to the final heat.
○ The 1st place winner of the final heat will be crowned Champion for the Third Annual Lost Street Brewing
Co. Weiner Dog Race.
★ All decisions made by LSBC regarding the finishing placements of the participants are final.
★ Unsportsmanlike misconduct will not be tolerated. This race is for fun, laughs, and competition!
