Building a Culture of Wellness: Schools as Hubs, Students as Leaders 

Calling all youth mental health champions! We want YOU to share your insights and expertise at the 6th Annual Napa Valley Wellness Conference. Join us as we learn from leading experts, accomplished educators, and youth ambassadors as we all look to better our practice, deepen our impact, and expand access to youth mental health resources. This professional development opportunity is will provide exceptional learning experiences for school leaders, mental health professionals, and community partners. This year our conference theme is Building a Culture of Wellness: Schools as Hubs, Students as Leaders.

Session proposals should align with our 2025 goals and themes:

Building a Culture of Wellness: Schools as Hubs, Students as Leaders

- Learn about mental health stigma and best practices to engage the youth's voice in order to increase mental health service usage. 

- Hear updates from experts about how to strategically build a sustainable wellness program. and best practices to grow and maintain school based wellness programs. 

- Bring best practices addressing racial inequities in school based mental health programming and racial trauma in students.

- Engage the youth voice through youth led panels and discussions around mental health stigma reduction, the intersection of mental wellness and racial inequity and other pressing topics facing students.

- Think outside the box, disrupt the daily efforts, and consider bigger, bolder, and brighter ways to support students. 

- Learn about new strategies to expand services to address the social determinants of health. 

- Share inspiring time together with like-minded educators, administrators, practitioners, and youth leaders to leave you inspired to lead with love.

Additional Information: Breakout Sessions will be 75 minutes long each. If you would like to submit a longer presentation you can submit a part one and part two. 

Please note all breakout sessions will occur in person at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, CA.

Audience: School based mental health professionals and school site administration.

Up to two presenters will be eligible for complimentary tickets.

We are seeking breakout proposals that represent innovative implementation, best practices, community collaboration and evidence-based programming. Our goal is to include exciting and relevant examples of practices in school wellness and student mental health. We invite you to join us in presenting programs that improve the entire community. In order to be considered, each presenter will need to submit an abstract of their presentation in their desired format.
