Sign up below to present at the Festival of Pseudo-Scientific Hypotheses And Whatnot (PSHAW Fest).
Join the Greenwood Public Library in celebrating mad science on Wed. Dec. 3rd, 2014, at 6:00 pm, by giving a three to five minute presentation describing your own unconventional theory of why and how the universe and/or those who inhabit it evolved the way they did.  A $100.00 Amazon gift card will be awarded to the most outrageously bad hypothesis.

If you'd like to attend the event but don't want to present, please don't fill out this form.  Go to the following address to register to attend: http://calendar.greenwoodlibrary.us/evanced/eventcalendar.asp

Presentations will be judged by a panel of four, based on the following criteria:

1. Best use of science. Extrapolate your crazy theory from actual scientific research.  Include real citations from academic sources.

2. Most science covered.  How much "real" science does your single theory explain?  More is better.

3. Most creative, surprising, and unconventional hypothesis.  (Please keep your audience in mind.  This is an adult program, but there may be young people present.)

4. Best defense of theory.  The funniest won't necessarily win.  Do your best to really "prove" your theory.

A projector, sound system, and laptop will be available for use during your presentation.
