2026 Cathy Kinzer Memorial Professional Development Award Application
The mission of TODOS: Mathematics for ALL is to advocate for equity and high quality mathematics education for all students - in particular, Latinx students.  

The Cathy Kinzer Memorial Professional Development Award has been established to honor Dr. Kinzer for her life-long commitment to equity in mathematics professional development.  To continue her work, this award will be given to an individual to attend the 2026 TODOS Conference titled, "TODOS en Comunidad: Rooting Mathematics in Humanity". The conference will be held in Orange County, CA on June 24 - 25, 2026

Eligibility for Award:
* Must be a Member of TODOS by October 1, 2025
* Must be a PK-12 classroom teacher or PK-12 coach supporting mathematics
* Must attend the full conference

Recipient will receive:
* TODOS 2026 Conference registration
* Lodging (up to 2 night's single occupancy)
* One-year membership in TODOS: Mathematics for All (or a one-year extension)
* Invitation to become a member of the next TODOS Teacher Award Committee

Award does not include travel, Leadership Institute fees nor meals outside of the conference.

An award recipient who has registered and paid for the conference will receive a refund.

Deadline to submit application: March 2, 2026

This will be a powerful continuation of the movement to catalyze, cultivate, and collaborate to expand critical transformation in mathematics education en comunidad – bringing together educators, researchers, advocates, and community leaders committed to justice and equity in mathematics for ALL.  https://www.todos-math.org/conference
