Application: Humanities Council Project Co-Sponsorship, AY 2025-2026
Faculty proposals for co-sponsorship are accepted throughout the year and considered on a rolling basis. We ask that requests be submitted one month in advance.

The average award for conferences or one-time co-sponsorships is $2,000. Please note that the executive committee has established a benchmark of $750 - $1,500 for honoraria for public lectures and $75 - $500 for a class visit or conference/colloquia participation.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS: Graduate conference requests are typically funded at a maximum of $1,000 and an email of support from the home department is required for consideration of the application. Graduate-student-initiated proposals for events in Fall 2025 must be received no later than September 15, 2025 and for Spring 2026 events must be received by no later than February 16, 2026.
