SITUATION: As a programs manager, I expanded our professional network within the industry. One situation where I successfully utilized my networking skills was when I spearheaded a project to establish partnerships with key industry leaders.

TASK: To achieve this, I conducted thorough market research to identify influential individuals, industry experts and thought leaders in the health sector. Then, I began reaching out to them through personalized and targeted communications, highlighting the alignment of our services with their expertise and the potential benefits of partnership. I also engaged in conversations, shared industry insights, and offered assistance whenever possible to build rapport and credibility within the network. Finally, after building initial connections, I proposed collaborative projects and initiatives that would benefit both parties

OUTCOME: By showcasing the synergies between our organizations, I established mutually beneficial partnerships that added value to our network.

RESULT: As a result of these networking efforts, our professional network within the technology industry expanded significantly. We increased brand visibility, received referrals and generated new business leads, gained recognition as a reputable authority within the health sector.

SITUATION: Another situation where I demonstrated strong networking skills was as a secretary of a sports committee during a sport tournament where I assisted in the logistics of the event.

TASK: In order to achieve this, I carried out research on nearby hospitals if the need for referral of emergencies arise. I ensured the ambulance was in excellent condition. Expected delays were aborted due to the efficient use of time management. COVID 19 samples gotten from athletes were safely delivered to the labs each day. Beneficial partnerships were established between private ambulance services as well in case we had many casualties.

OUTCOME: By carrying out these processes, it was a seamless event. Delays were aborted and new relationships had been formed between the Sport Centre clinic and the referral hospitals.
