A Note About Demonstrations and Sales: ***PLEASE NOTE*** THE MAKER FAIR IS DEDICATED TO BUILDING COMMUNITY AND SHARING OUR PASSIONS. DEMONSTRATIONS AND INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES ARE THE FOCUS. We do, however, understand Makers' desire to incorporate opportunities for commerce at the Fair. While traditional Maker Fairs prohibit the sale of items, we are allowing vendors to make sales at their tables, but in a limited way so that the focus remains on demonstrations and interacting with the children who visit the tables. Sales are permitted as follows:
- Makers are required to offer demos/interactive activities continuously throughout the event
- Makers may not require the purchase of any materials for an activity
- Makers may not require the purchase of the product of an activity
- Retail may not interfere with the demos/activities (may require two people if choosing to sell items)
- Retail display may not occupy more than 20% of the table
