INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

We will provide you with a full week of training, after which you will be responsible for looking after a catered and/or self-catered chalet and its guests.

Throughout the ski season, your working week will vary but will average around 40 hours. The contract will run from December to mid-April, with exact dates to be confirmed closer to the time.

The rota will be organised at the start of the season. If any changes are necessary, you will be informed at the weekly team meeting or by your manager as early as possible. Some days and weeks will require longer shifts, during which you will be expected to work extended hours.

January will be quieter, offering you more ski time
February is the busiest month (your skills from earlier in the season will be key)
March and April will be quieter
Chalet close-down and end-of-season cleaning

JOB DESCRIPTION

Host in different chalets within the same resort throughout the season.
Prepare and serve guests’ meals in the chalet (breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner).
Maintain and clean both catered and self-catered chalets. Please note that a significant amount of cleaning will be required.
Assist with preparations in the main central kitchen.
Carry out basic maintenance tasks in the chalets.
Drive and deliver items to various properties (if applicable)
Co-ordinate closely with your manager, who will oversee your duties and provide support when needed.
Undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by your manager.
