This course uses experimental cinema to interrogate relationships between humans and other animals. Some of the films and videos are documentary or ethnographic in nature, others reappropriate science footage, and yet others explore science fiction. We use these works to grapple with questions of representation, exploitation, and narration across species boundaries.
