ICAN of Huntsville is a chapter of the International Cesarean Awareness Network, Inc. (ICAN), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve maternal-child health by preventing unnecessary cesareans through education, providing support for cesarean recovery, and promoting Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). ICAN of Huntsville has been currently serving our community since July 2013.

ICAN of Huntsville accomplishes its mission through monthly peer-to-peer support meetings, connecting with the community at community events, and sponsoring the ICAN of Huntsville Doula Scholarship for Expectant Mothers.
