The annual cost for a regular ‘share of the harvest’ veg box and community membership inclusive is £700. This equates to £16.60 a veg box (40 boxes) and £3 per month community membership. Although we ask people to sign up for a year and take a year-round view of the veg - the value will be higher in the bountiful summer/autumn and lower in winter/spring. There are also options to have half the amount of the regular share or a fortnightly box year-round.
In the name of food justice – ensuring our food is accessible to a wide range of people - we’re offering the veg boxes on a solidarity pricing scale, so you can select to pay what you can realistically afford.

You can also choose anywhere between these points. If you’d like more guidance on what is considered low, middle or high income then there’s a helpful table on our FAQs page.
The additional income from the higher end of the scale goes towards subsidising the cost for those who find it harder to afford. Farm budgets are based on the middle rate, so we rely on members to tell us what is truly affordable for them at this time to make the project work. The running of the farm is still subsidised by grants/donations and is a non-profit operation.
