Arkansas State City Title Application & Contract 

City Title is $150. All contestants are required to obtain a city title. Complete this City Title Request Form and send payment at time of submission to: Cashapp: $LawrenAycock or Paypal  lawrenfason@yahoo.com. Each city titleholder will receive an official city sash to wear at the state pageant, making appearances, or volunteering. If sending paypal please send as friends and family, I am licensed and bonded as required by the State of Arkansas. Entry fees of 250.00 for Elementary and 350.00 for JR High, High, or Collegiate are due no later than October 1st,2025. You MUST compete at the Arkansas State pageant to qualify for nationals.

Conduct of competition
We have a zero-tolerance policy for poor sportsmanship, bullying, or failure to follow the rules set forth by the pageant, the director, all Staff, and the venue. I understand and agree the Arkansas MEA and HSA State director and its Staff may determine the manner and method of conducting the competition at their discretion. Any contestant or family member or guest showing less than sportsmanlike behavior will lead to the disqualification of the contestant and/or refusal of any future participation with the Miss High School America Organization and without a refund. 

Courtesy and proper language is required when dealing with other contestants, chaperones, pageant staff, production staff and hotel/venue staff.
Contestants must be on time to all scheduled events. Contestants must be picked up by parent or chaperone at scheduled times. 
To leave the group (for example: restroom breaks) contestants must advise a staff member where they are going and always have a chaperone with them. 
No cell phones are allowed in the interview rooms, rehearsals or backstage during the pageant events. No video or photos are allowed in the dressing rooms at any time. 
No smoking, illegal substances or drinking of alcoholic beverages during the pageant weekend for any delegate.

I understand that if, at any time between the date of completion at which I am selected as a titleholder for the Arkansas Elementary or High School America Organization and the completion of my year of service, any facts concerning my eligibility to participate in the program should change, including without limitation my citizenship, marital or parental status, good character and reputation (Including Social Media), the  Organization shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to determine that I am not eligible to continue to serve as a titleholder. In the event this occurs, the Organization may, at its option, forfeit my title and all prizes, awards, and perquisites of  a titleholder position

Publication Rights
I hereby authorize the Miss Arkansas Elementary and High School pageant and MEA and MHSA Pageant, and anyone duly licensed or authorized by the  Organization to: 
(1) televise, photograph, broadcast and/or make radio, television, video and audio tapes or motion picture recordings of me individually or in a group;
(2) use or reuse such photographs, recordings, video tapes, audio tapes and/or motion films in all media throughout the world in perpetuity, and;
(3) use my name, likeness and/or physical depiction for any purpose in perpetuity, in an unedited or edited manner or fashion as the Organization in its sole discretion, shall determine.
This authorization shall also include the use of all such photographs, recordings, videotapes, audiotapes and/or motion picture films made during my year of service.

Rules- READ CAREFULLY!
Fees- There is no refund of deposit, fee, or event ticket orders if contestant is unable to attend the pageant. Contestants and their family will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred during the pageant. Anyone who files with the digital payment platform any dispute of fees or refunds will not be allowed to compete in future events with the organization.  The contestant shall be responsible for all incidental charges at the hotel.
Backstage & after show- No family, friends, coaches, personal helpers, etc. will be allowed in the wings, on-stage or in interview area. One parent per contestant allowed in the dressing room. After the crowning, only the Official Photographer will be allowed on-stage with a camera.
Judges- No one at any time should wave at, touch (including shaking hands), speak to or approach the judges. All judges decisions are final. Do not reach out to judges on social media at any time. 
Staff- Outside of the competition, contestants, parents, friends, relatives, etc. should not approach the judges, the judges' coordinator, or auditors for any reason or at any time.
Grooming- Contestants are not allowed to wear flippers, fake teeth, or other fake dental devices.  
ELEMENTARY- false eyelashes are only permitted during on stage competitions. No midsection showing in any phase of competition. No make up during the interview competition, we will swab each delegate. Hair style should be simple and natural. If makeup is found, the contestant will receive a five-point deduction. Shows will move straight through- quick change and touch ups- back to line up. Hair changes not advised, the show must go on. No wiglets or falls allowed. 
Expectations: 
All Arkansas titleholders will compete in the MEA or MHSA national pageant next summer in Little Rock AR. Diamond State and Natural State titleholders are also invited to compete at nationals. Additional nickname appointed titles will join Team Arkansas. ALL TITLES ARE EQUAL! 
Every titleholder for Team Arkansas will agree to post once per month on Facebook, in addition to photos and videos requested from the Arkansas State Director, Lawren Aycock. All sponsor items will be worn/used and posted as instructed. Titleholders will attend a minimum of 3 Team Arkansas workshops. 

Failure to adhere to these rules can result in the disqualification of the contest and in her removal from the pageant.

Contestant Release and Indemnity Agreement

As a contestant in the Miss Arkansas Elementary and High School America Pageant, do hereby knowingly and voluntarily release the venue, the Pageant, Officers, Directors, Volunteers and Staff, Trustees, Judges and employees and any other person, firm, heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, damages, loss of service, actions and causes of action based upon, arising out of, or in any way related to any honors, rights, or awards sought by me as a contestant in the state franchised in current year. Further, I do hereby agree to exonerate, hold harmless, and indemnify such pageants listed any and all claims that I or my representative may have against such pageants, past, present or future in connection with such honors, rights and awards. Such indemnification to include any and all fees (including reasonable attorney’s fees), costs and other expenses reasonably incurred by or on behalf of claims, lawsuits, demands, actions, or causes or action. I have had a full and adequate opportunity to ask any and all questions that I have concerning this document and I do fully understand the terms of this agreement.

I understand that this application and contract is a legal document and that I sign and submit it to the  Organization and if it is accepted, it will create legal obligations that are binding.
