May 22 - Songfest for Adult Students at Riverview Gardens studio around the grand piano. No fee.
Wednesday, June 19, 4 to 5:30 pm - Kingsley School Graduation Concert, Etobicoke, Ontario. Ukuele Club performing.
May 29 - Optional 5-week Jamming with a Coach begins
June 19 - Last day of academic year
July/August - Lessons will be available on a week by week basis either in Toronto or in Temagami, Ontario, one hour north of North Bay.
September 9 - 2024/25 Academic Year begins for private lessons and Jamming with a Coach
*Extra fees for Songfests (recitals/showcases/jams): $45 per performer, includes performer, all guests of performer, and refreshments. The fee covers venue rental, LCBO license, and refreshments. (One fee per family unit.)
Depending on your interest, we will be adding Camps on PD Days and other school holidays. There will be optional student trips to hear the symphony or chamber groups or jazz concerts. Stay tuned for ticket purchase deadlines.
NEW CLASSES IN DEVELOPMENT- A "Jazz for Kids" live concert series featuring Marc and Rebecca Enkin and other engaging and talented professional Toronto musicians
- "Learn to Sing the Hymns" group class for adults who want to participate more fully in their church services, led by Rebecca Enkin
- "Learn Your Notes" private lessons for young choristers who need assistance preparing for their own weekly choir practises
- Two new weekly group classes for children led by Rebecca Enkin:
- "Lost Chord Singers Club" for children who love to sing with others, combining singing instruction, part-singing, and some theory, culminating in a performance for parents
- "Lost Chord World History Club" for children interested in exciting stories from the past using story, drama, maps, crafts, memory work, and music, using classical education methods of teaching.
