DS Interns are expected to work 40+ hours per week on the campaign and are free to work up to 20 hours at another job if necessary. DS Interns must take direction from campaign leadership, including the Campaign Director, Deputy Campaign Director, and Democracy Spring staff.
DS Interns will live in the Democracy Spring Movement House, located in Takoma Park, just outside of DC. The Movement House is a communal living and working arrangement shared by DS Interns and staff. Interns are required to contribute to collective house maintenance, including but not limited to cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping.
High-speed internet is provided at the movement house. DS Interns are expected to bring their own laptops/computers and mobile phones.
