Growing Places Indy Winter Veggie Share Order Form
Veggie Share Basics
When you sign up for our 8-week veggie share (also referred to as a CSA share or customer supported agriculture) you will receive a weekly veggie bag filled with the best vegetables and herbs we grow.

A share is designed for an individual who eats a lot of vegetables or a couple/family that cooks regularly. In addition to a convenient size share, we offer a diversity of vegetables for those who want to sample much of what grows in Central Indiana. We include 8-12 different items in the share each week.

Being a CSA Member involves supporting a farm at the beginning of the growing season when a farm needs income most, and sharing in the farms successes and failures as the season goes on. In return for your early support, we will be able to give you what is abundant and delicious for the twelve weeks of our main growing season. We hope that you enjoy the vegetables and your share of the farm! We enjoy putting together your share each week, and we are very grateful to you!

Thank you for supporting small scale, sustainable agriculture. Thank you for supporting Growing Places Indy!

Pricing and Payments
The full retail price of a share is called the Sun Rate at $350 for a 12-week share (averages out to $29/week).

We offer the following three flexible pricing options:

$350 Sun Rate - The Sun Rate means not only will you cover our costs, but $100 of the cost of your share is a fully tax deductible donation to help fund veggie shares for families who need access to fresh local food in our community.

$300 Soil Rate - The Soil Rate means not only will you cover our costs, but $50 of the cost of your share is a fully tax deductible donation to help fund veggie shares for families who need access to fresh local food in our community.

$250 Seed Rate - The Seed Rate is set at a base amount that will allow us to operate the CSA.

Our intention with the price range is not to pressure members into paying more, but rather to offer you the opportunity to make an additional contribution in support the mission of Growing Places Indy. We provide access to fresh local food, mind-body education, and programming that nourishes individuals and community. We appreciate your contribution!

A Few Words about Growing Places Indy
Growing Places Indy is a non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals to cultivate personal, family and community wellness through urban agriculture, food access and mind-body education. Urban agriculture is one component of our work. We run an urban farming operation that includes sites at the White River State Park, the Cottage Home neighborhood and the Boner Fitness & Learning Center. Our total growing space is more than one acre. We are not a certified organic farming operation but our farming techniques and mission exceed organic standards. You can trust that we never use chemical fertilizers, herbicides or insecticides on our farm, as we believe healthy soil yields healthy plants, which in turn yield healthy people and communities. We would never jeopardize this for short-term gains or convenience. In addition to our veggie share, we sell our vegetables to locally owned restaurants, at a farm stand and through a U-Pick. Farming work is led by co-Directors of Farm Operations, Hannah Coots and Phil Kranyak, and includes full and part-time farming staff as well as apprentices and volunteers.
