The course is developed within the framework of the Erasmus+KA2 DEFEP project "Distance Education for the Future: best EU practices in response to the requests of modern higher education seekers and labor market". Distance education is a powerful alternative and complement to traditional education, built on solid quality criteria in pedagogical, academic, administrative, and technical aspects.
To support the development of distance education, this Course provides methodical support for teaching staff. It covers the normative framework, types of distance education, roles of teachers and students, course conceptualization, content organization, support materials development, and recommended teaching-learning and evaluation strategies.
