Come learn about foraging whether its for food, science, dye making, or just to be outside with friends!
A $10-20 dollar donation is encouraged but not required. We want everyone to get out foraging regardless of financial status.
What to bring?
-Water to stay hydrated
-Snacks (if you'd like, not required)
-A rainjacket
-A basket or bag for collecting mushrooms and other edibles
-Knife for harvesting and preparing
-A brush for cleaning the mushrooms
-A notebook to jot some stuff down
-Gloves for protection from thorns or prickly plants
-Identification guide or book for mushroom species
-Offering for the land (such as tobacco, sage, something that you grew, etc…)
-Paper bags or containers to store collected items safely and separately
-Extra trash bag for collecting trash in nature
