Join us in this practical, engaging training session hosted by Charlottesville First UMC. 

Gain Confidence & Skills: Dementia Care Training:
This basic dementia care training is perfect for anyone interested in gaining valuable skills to make a difference. In this 2-hour session, on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am- 12 pm,  you'll learn:
  • A better understanding of dementia and its effects.
  • Positive communication techniques that really work.
  • Practical ways to respond compassionately and effectively to common dementia-related behaviors.
