Important: Please read before filling out the application
The SA is comprised of various committees which focus on specific tasks throughout the year. There are two main types of committees: the Standing Committees and the Student Initiative Committees.
The Standing Committees include the Academics, Environmental, Student Life, Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, and the Beyond the Hedges Committees.
The Student Initiative Committees are different year long projects that are renewed each year. The point of the Student Initiatives Committees is to allow the student body to create relevant change on campus through SA support and funding. If you are applying to chair a Student Initiative Committee you will also be asked to present your idea for the committee in an interview with the IVP. Only 1-3 Student Initiative Committees are selected each year. If you have an idea you would like to become reality, you should apply to start a Student Initiatives Committee.
