Building Hope and community partner agencies are working to establish a program to increase availability of appropriate and timely crisis care in Summit County. Working off of processes from organizations within Summit and other Colorado counties that have successfully stabilized hundreds of individuals in crisis and diverted them from more severe action, such as mental health holds, in-patient treatment, and arrest, Building Hope is asking to partner with local Licensed Mental Health Providers to close the gap between immediate stabilization and consistent therapy.
~ Clinician needs to be licensed in the state of Colorado with no restrictions
~ Stabilization appointments will focus on safety planning, stabilization, and care coordination with SMART
team or other referring agency
~ Appointments are to be in-person only, no telehealth appointments (If a clinician does not have a local office,
Building Hope will help to provide space either at the Healing Hub or Building Hope office, both in Frisco)
~ Referrals can be received with many days prior notice, or on the same day
~ It is of utmost importance that the slot committed to be held open is not booked by any other client
~ Clinician will be paid by Building Hope through a separate regular monthly invoicing process (**$150 per session regardless whether empty or filled**)
~ Clinician will sign Crisis Stabilization Program Contract with Building Hope and agree to the terms determined in contract
~ If it is discovered that the Clinician is not upholding to the terms of the contract, Building Hope reserves the
right to terminate the contract at any time (Clinician will be responsible to repay Building Hope in the event
that Clinician is not providing adequate response time and services to clients in need)
