We have two locations where we need your help:

Lux-City Week 1: 29.07 - 02.08

Lux-City Week 2: 05.08 - 09.08

Lux City Week 3: 12.08 - 16.08

Esch: 19.08 - 24.08

But before you hit the keys and fill out this form, let’s make sure we’re on the same page!

So… what is Sunset Cinema?

Well, yes – it’s an open-air cinema *plot twist*, but it’s also much more than just a giant inflatable screen where you can watch blockbusters, art films, classics and animated movies. Before each screening, there will be live performances from local artists, pre-movie animations, drinks, and snacks. And this year, we’re going even bigger! At Lux-City and Esch, we’ll show a children's movie in the early evening in addition to our main films.

So, in short: there’s a lot going on. Which is exactly why we need you.

We’re looking for motivated and reliable volunteers to support us at Lux-City and Esch, so that our evenings run smoothly and everybody can enjoy the full Sunset Cinema experience.

If you are…

⭐️ 18+ years old

⭐️ available for at least one movie week (5 days for Lux-City, 6 days for Esch)*. This helps with really getting comfortable in your tasks and our workflow, getting to know your peers and building our volunteer community

⭐️ excited to support a local cultural project and have the best time while doing it

New this year: Shifts

As our Lux-City and Esch events will be taking place over a longer period of time with two movies and animations, you will have to choose between the afternoon or evening shift. Please only select one shift per week!

⭐️ afternoon shift: 16:00 - 20:00

⭐️ evening shift: 19:30 – 23:30

Your tasks will be providing general support, such as helping at the bar and snack booths, beach chair rental, setup and assisting with partner booths – while always having a good view at the screen of course.
