The New York City Walk - 10/19/13

Lupus is one of many disorders of the immune system known as autoimmune diseases. The  New York City Walk with Us to Cure Lupus is an event that supports the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR ) and raise funds to find better treatments and ultimately prevent and cure systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE or lupus), a debilitating autoimmune disease, by supporting medical research.

When: Saturday, October 19th
           6:30 A.M. - 12: 30 PM (Latest You Can Arrive is 7:30)
Where:  Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum

Tasks:
Set-up: Event set-up is a great opportunity for early risers.
Registration: Check in walkers and collect their donations. (Must be 16 years or older)
T-shirt Pick Up: Hand out incentive t-shirts to qualifying walkers.
Food Area: Help set up the food area and distribute snacks and beverages.
Clean Up: Help with post event clean up, break down and packing of supplies.
