Participate in User Research With Us
Student Financial Services (SFS) is looking to improve its online student experience for financial aid, scholarships, loans, work-study, bills, and payments. We are interested in hearing your challenges, frustrations, recommendations, and ideas about providing better financial communication to you while you are a student here at Columbia.
We plan to speak with 25 students. For those who are not contacted now to participate, there may be an opportunity to participate in user testing later this fall!
Here’s what your participation would entail:
• A one-hour scheduled session conducted via Zoom, meeting with 2-3 of our team members.
• Session slots available 9-5 between Monday, January 31 and Friday, March 4, 2022 (not including weekends).
Cancellation Policy: While we understand that surprises happen, please take care to select a time when you will not be interrupted by competing priorities. You will receive reminders from our team via Calendly and directly from our team. If you fail to reschedule in a timely manner or are considered a "no-show" at your session, your spot in the interview study will be replaced.
Upon completing the interview, we will send the digital Amazon gift card to your preferred email address within 1–2 business days.
Your feedback will help us create a better user experience for the Student Financial Services website as well as increase our understanding of how students interact with SSOL. We appreciate your participation and we look forward to chatting with you.
