Question & Comment Section:
Let us know your thoughts on the 30 Days of Service, suggestions for future projects or overall feedback.
We will use your comments to help decide if this should be an annual project and how to improve on organizing events for the group so please be as honest and detailed as you can. THANK YOU!!
Are you interested in becoming a Serve KC Event Organizer?
An event organizer is someone who wants to plan and host events on a reoccurring basis for a particular agency. So if there is an agency that you are closely involved with and you want to schedule reoccurring volunteer events with them then this is for you. Event Organizers will need to communicate instructions to the volunteers who RSVP to their events using the Meetup features. There is no ongoing commitment and no pressure. Attending the quarterly planning meetings is optional but encouraged. Event Organizers will be designated for each agency we begin serving on a regular basis. See the non-profit agency list for a current list.
Interested in becoming a Serve KC Event Host?
Some events like Harvesters are hosted on a reoccurring basis and we are looking for people to help us by hosting one or more of these events. All that is required is that you attend at least one of the events to get a little experience. All that you would be asked to do is help gather people at the events when they arrive and be the onsite leader of sorts to answer questions for any new volunteers. There is no ongoing commitment.
email address
Only needed if you're interested in being an Event Organizer or Host.
