Schedule Change Request
Students and parents are encouraged to make a careful selection of classes during spring registration for the next year. Selection of classes is one of the most important responsibilities that a student has in order to allow him/her the best possible education at Blackfoot High School. Due to class availability and scheduling conflicts from classes offered the same period, students must request 3 classes (at a minimum) beyond the 5 classes needed each trimester to fill their schedule.
Class changes will only be allowed for specific reasons and within specified time frames. Bona fide reasons for class changes include the following:
1. to satisfy graduation requirements
2. to fill student’s schedule
3. to ensure proper academic placement
4. as directed by administrators, counselors, and teachers
For further details refer to pages 40-41 in the student handbook.
NOTE: Students must have this form filled out in addition to the needed documentation prior to attempting to change schedules. If the needed documentation is not provided, Blackfoot High School will not be able to process the request.

Provide a compelling explanation for your schedule change request that supports one of the bona fide reasons for class changes as stated in the student handbook. Provide the needed information from your transcript to support your explanation (for example, "I already have this credit" or "I have taken a class that satisfies this requirement...")
