Fellows will get hands-on campaign experience in an exciting and competitive race supporting the field team in grassroots organizing, outreach and absorption, and voter contact. Campaign staff will provide fellows with trainings and skills that will be beneficial to their professional and political lives.
Ideal candidates for this position will have a commitment to social justice and progressive political agendas, as well as a desire to fight for the communities that Senator Jehlen represents. Ideal candidates for this position should be enthusiastic to work in a collective work space and must possess the ability to take initiative while still working as a team.
The Fellowship program is seeking candidates who can commit to a full or part time schedule including evenings and occasional weekends. This position is unpaid but is a fantastic learning opportunity to work for one of the most qualified, dedicated, and progressive Senators in Massachusetts. Knowledge of Cambridge, Somerville, Medford or Winchester is preferred but not required. Applicants must have a reliable access to transportation to our headquarters in Davis Square.
