Children's Weekend Food Program (CWFP), a weekend backpack program, is currently seeking candidates for our newly created, volunteer Administrative Leader position. All St. Peter area community members are eligible to apply. We intend to interview applicants and select a candidate within 2 weeks of the application deadline.

The Administrative Leader position has been created as part of a three person leadership team that will oversee the operation of CWFP and help provide direction for the program(s). This new position, along with the other positions that make up the leadership team will help in defining many of the policies and procedures for the committee and its team members. Each member of the leadership team is supported by a group of experienced volunteers who manage the day to day operations. It is the responsibility of each leader to communicate with their team of volunteers and make sure that the jobs are getting completed as needed.
Administrative Leader Responsibilities:
The Administrative Leader is the primary contact
for the program and is responsible for the overall administrative and financial
functions. This includes managing meetings with the Advisory Committee,
submitting reports and participating in the St. Peter Area Food Shelf (SPAF)
board meetings, partnering with the Greater Mankato Area United Way (GMAUW)
including submission of the annual grant request, and management of the
program’s finances.
This position is estimated to take approximately 10 - 15 hours per month on average.
