Greetings incoming & returning Balboa Family! If you are interested in participating in Cheer this upcoming school year, please fill out this form as a means for us to contact you about upcoming meetings/eventual tryouts within the upcoming weeks.
You do not need prior experience to join the team, we ask that you try your best and encourage all to give it a shot! Somethings to expect while being on the team are:
- Cheering at Games during Football & Basketball Games
- Halftime Show Performances at Games
- Practicing Basic Cheer Movements
- Improving Flexibility
- Build School Spirit
- Create a Bond with the team
Please fill put this form if you participated on the Cheer Team last year and are interested in continuing this year. Keep in mind is that Cheer is an all year round sport and a commitment. If you are on the team we ask that you prioritize the team, or be able to maintain that alongside any extracurriculars or academic obligations. We typically leave class early with excused absences and passes to participate in a Sport, so anticipate possibly having to make up assignments. Again, no past experience is needed to be on the team, and we ask you keep an open mind.
