Absence Request
Administration realizes there are legitimate reasons for students to be absent from school. However, acceptable standards must be set for attendance and administration reserves the right to classify student absences. There may be student absences which, although unexcused, warrant making up missed work. Building principals, therefore, shall establish procedures for conferring with parents or guardians prior to student absences and shall prepare guidelines for recognized absences including the criteria for makeup work.

After review of the completed form, student and guardian will be notified by an administrator or the attendance secretary.
