The 2016 Hispanic Black Gay Coalition 6th Annual Youth Empowerment Conference is NOW ACCEPTING WORKSHOP PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS!
Come share your knowledge and skills with LGBTQ youth to create personal and social change. This will be the 5th annual Hispanic Black Gay Coalition LGBTQ Youth Empowerment Conference, and we are excited as the conference continues to grow in size, popularity and diversity of attendees and programming each year.
HBGC's annual LGBTQ Youth Empowerment Conference is a FREE, accessible space for LGBTQ youth of color to connect with each other, share resources, and gain useful skills for navigating life and creating social change. It is currently the largest conference gathering of LGBTQ youth of color and their allies in New England. Come be a part of the action, community and learning!
Date of Conference: Saturday, October 8th & Sunday, October 9th, 2016
Location of Conference: Massachusettes Institute of Technology- Tang Center, Cambridge
Target Population: LGBTQ Youth of Color 25 and Under
If you’re interested in presenting a 60 minute workshop at the conference, complete the following proposal form. The workshop should be empowering, interactive, and informational for LGBTQ youth and young adults of color under the age of 25. All submitted proposals will be notified by August 15, 2016 regarding next steps.
This proposal form must be submitted by August 1, 2016.
