This program offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on skills in garden-based education through work at the Goodman Youth Farm and Troy Kids Garden. Working side-by-side with farmers and staff, trainees learn small-scale, sustainable farming techniques and will gain a thorough understanding of facilitating positive experiences in the garden for youth . Trainees can expect to gain experience in every aspect of small-scale vegetable production as well as working with children of all ages in a farm or garden setting.
