CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS (WEXFO project)

Are you interested or engaged in the topic of freedom of expression for young people? Maybe you study media, maybe you're politically active, perhaps you want to explore the boundaries of free expression? 

Then you might be who we are looking for! 
European Youth Press is recruiting participants for a project titled "More Young Voices – Freedom of expression and youth participation in democracy"

⏰ Application Deadline: 31st of March 2024
🌎 Traveling to Norway the 26th - 31st of May 2024 
💵 All expenses paid (travel, accommodation, food) 

🤝  Who can apply?
  • You're under 30 
  • You live in Germany 
  • You are able to travel to Lillehammer, Norway the 26th-31st of May 2024
  • You are interested in the topic of freedom of expression 

More information: 

Before the trip you will: 
  • Attend one online 1-hour Zoom meeting with other participants 
  • Reflect upon the topic of freedom of expression 

During the trip you will: 
  • Attend the Wold Expression Forum conference alongside global defenders of freedom of expression
  • Build friendships across borders 
  • Explore youth participation and expression 
  • Visit the Norwegian "democracy island" of Utøya 
  • Attend panel debates and network with stakeholders 
After the trip you will: 
  • Hopefully have made new friends :) 
  • Organise 1 follow-up activity in your own country – more information will follow during the trip
