Reading mentors, Tyler Public Library
We will have youth volunteers prepared to work one on one with children who need encouragement to read during the summer months. These volunteers will be between the ages of 12 and 17 years of age. This will not be a reading tutor, but someone to listen to your child read aloud, help with the more difficult words, and talk about what they have read.
Books for the program are available at the Tyler Public Library or your child may bring a book with them for reading.
