LGBTİ+ Yaşlılık Çalışmaları Programı, Şubat ve Mayıs 2024 arasında, kurulduğu günden bu yana farklı yıllarda farklı çalışmalar kapsamında hazırladığı 3 farklı yayın içerisinde yer almayan Yaşlı LGBTİ+’lara yönelik bazı iyi örneklerden 4’ünü her ay okuyucularla paylaşacağını duyurmuştu. Aynı zamanda, Mart ve Nisan aylarında zoom üzerinden iki farklı Kuşaklararası İletişim Etkinliği gerçekleştirmiş ve iki farklı Uluslararası Deneyim Paylaşımı Toplantısı düzenlemeyi ve planladığını duyurmuştu.
Savunuculuk faaliyetlerinin* bir parçası olan bu çalışmalarda ilk deneyim paylaşım toplantısı 6 Martta Belçika'dan Tels Quels örgütü ile yapıldı.
İkincisi ise 29 Nisan’da İngiltereden Tonic Housing ile yapılacak. Bu oluşumun, yaşlanan ve yaşlı LGBTİ+'lar için gerçekleştirdiği çalışmaları değerlendireceğimiz bu etkinliğe katılım ücretsiz ve zoom üzerinden gerçekleşecek.
Toplantı boyunca İngilizce-Türkçe ardıl çeviri desteği de sunulacak.

International Experience Sharing Meeting II will be held on 29 April
The LGBTI+ Aging Studies Programme has announced that it aims to share with its readers every month between February and May 2024, 4 of some best practices around the world for LGBTI+ elders that have not been included before in 3 different publication that it has prepared within the scope of its different studies in different years since its establishment. At the same time, it held two different Intergenerational Communication Events and it announced that it plans to organize different International Experience Sharing Meetings via zoom in March and April 2024.
The first online experience sharing meeting as a part of such advocacy activities*, was held with the presence of the representatives of Tels Quels organization from Belgium.
The guest of the second of such meeting will be Tonic Housing from United Kingdom. In this experience sharing meeting that will be held online on zoom, we will evaluate the work carried out by Tonic Housing UK for aging and elder LGBTI+ persons in UK.
The consecutive translation support between English-Turkish will be provided throughout the meeting.
