CITERIA

• A riders age on 1st January will determine their age for competition purposes that year
• A rider may move to the next higher age class when they become eligible by reason of a birthday, but once the rider moves to that higher age class, they may not move back to the lower age class
• A rider must hold a current Junior National Licence to be eligible to apply for a Junior MXs Race number
• Junior numbers are based on age and grading. Please request a number suitable to your age and grading bracket.
• A rider must be endorsed for the bike capacity for which they are applying for a number.  
• Numbers from 1-10 are seeded numbers for riders in A Grade classes and are reserved and allocated to those riders seeded from the previous years Victorian Motocross Championship results. A riders current allocated number remains reserved for that time whilst a rider is using a seeded number, so you can return to it should you not earn a seeded number the following year.  
• Seeded numbers from State titles are for use by riders in the upcoming year in that same capacity class
(ie 2019 title win, number is available for use by that rider in that class in 2020 -1/1/2020 to 31/12/2020).  
• Riders need to confirm they still require their allocated number and for which class, when they renew their licence each year by calling Motorcycling Victoria
• If a rider has a number in one class (eg. 65cc) and wishes to have the same number in another class (eg. 85cc) they must advise of this when applying for their number.
• Any rider whose licence has expired by 6 months or more will automatically lose their allocated number and will need to re-apply for a number once they have a current licence.
• Riders that have been regraded will be required to apply for a number in the appropriate grade via the online application form
• It is a rider’s responsibility to update their personnel details when renewing their Licence.
