At this time, the YPIE Science Research Scholars Program is full for the 2025-2026 school year. Studnets in the 2028 graduating class who would like to participate, can fill out the application and will be considered for the waitlist. If a current scholar withdraws from the program we will pull students from that waitlist.

This four-year program is designed for 9th-grade students from Hunters Lane, McGavock, and Stratford High Schools who are curious about science, research, and preparing for college. Throughout high school, students will receive ongoing support, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences to build confidence in scientific thinking and develop skills that will help them in college and future careers.
Funded by Regeneron’s Together for Change initiative, this program is committed to supporting students from all backgrounds in exploring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
