This introduction to rules and regulations governing feed marketing in the UK, will be held via Zoom on 9th April 2025, starting at 9.30 and running through until approximately 4pm.
This training course is intended as an overview of the rules and regulations governing the marketing of equine feed products in the UK. It will cover both government and sporting regulatory bodies as well as enforcement agencies operating in the UK today. Included in this will be specific guidance on claims and labelling and what constitutes a medicinal product and claim. In addition there will be an overview of the claims permitted for products under the NOPS Code and new assurance scheme for products suitable for horses prone to gastric ulcers.
It is most suitable for those new to technical, sales and marketing roles as well as being of interest as a staff training tool for those needing to refresh their knowledge. It is also ideal for those new to the area of equine feed marketing.
