This conference is organized by MinneSLIFE, a standing committee of MinneTESOL, which invites proposals for its annual spring conference at the University of Minnesota. This conference brings together educators, scholars, parents, policy makers, and community members to focus on the social, cultural, and political work of educating students with limited or interrupted formal education (SLIFE). This year, we invite proposals on a wide range of topics, all with a focus on SLIFE.

- Migration studies and transnational mobility paths and processes
- Language and education policy, including the LEAPS Act
- Intake processes, scheduling, graduation plan processes
- Culturally relevant, anti-oppressive pedagogies
- Oral indigenous traditions and orientations
