Anyone may participate, families, community groups, businesses, schools, college students, and individuals are all welcome to join in our fall fun! 

Registration Opens: August 31st -  September 27th

Scarecrow Set-Up: Saturday, October 4th, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Apple Cider and cookies will be provided) 

Scarecrow Trail Dates: October 5th- October 31st

Scarecrow Pick Up: Saturday, November 1st or Sunday, November 2nd] 

RULES/INSTALLATION:

Each location will be equipped with a post for your scarecrow. 

Scarecrows must be secured to their stake and materials must be firmly attached to the scarecrow to withstand ALL weather elements

Size Restrictions: Minimum 4 foot tall- Maximum height 7 foot tall.

You will be responsible for the upkeep of your entry, throughout the month please inspect your scarecrow to ensure it remains in presentable condition throughout the Scarecrow Crawl.

Scarecrows  must be suitable for viewing by children. Entries in poor taste for family viewing, depicting controversial subjects, or overtly commercial or political in nature will not be accepted

The Creative Hub of Apopka and First Methodist of Apopka is not responsible for loss/damage. Do not include material you expect to be returned. 

PICK-UP:

Scarecrows that are not picked up by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday November 2nd will be discarded. Consider picking up a “salvage opportunity,” your scarecrow will not be in great shape after a month outside.
