The ‘Prince’ is a campus newspaper. While we welcome your commentary on national and international issues, we’re looking for people who are also willing to engage with and comment on issues that are closely tied to our campus, our community and our lives as students and young people. This means that we expect many of your columns will have direct relevance to Princeton. Columns can be humorous or serious – and a critical approach isn’t necessary. With that in mind: 1)Please give us three ideas for columns you’d like to write. 2)Please write one sample column on a topic of your choice. Columns should be between 750 and 800 words long. 3)Please give us two ideas for opinion blog posts you’d like to write. (Blog posts are generally 150-350 words, and can be short opinions or responses to other articles and columns in the Prince. They can have a more casual tone than columns.) Please email these applications to opinion@dailyprincetonian.com by 5pm, Thursday, September 26th.
