Novel Intentions is a writing group with a commitment to writing and reading intentionally and understanding the power of written works. This group works to build intentionality in the writers involved through discussions, debates, and open conversations about writer intention, allegory, historical context, social issues, and many more topics.
Novel Intentions is a place for the people that want to learn and open their minds to acceptance and education about books, literature, the place authors exist in modern day society, and learning about the craft as well as meeting other amazing authors!
We were created by T.M. Baylor, Aalis Blue, and Viranda, authors that want to see a rise in intentionally engaging with literature and the written word! If you would like to join us, please fill out the form below to apply!
We are only taking a limited number of applicants at a time due to wanting to keep the core mission of intentionality alive, well, and low pressure for everyone involved. If you are not selected for the round of applications you apply for, you will be automatically added to the waitlist for the next time we open applications!
INVITATION EMAILS TO THE DISCORD GO OUT AT THE END OF EVERY MONTH!
DISCLAIMER: We are not a political group but we will be discussing social issues such as racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism, classism, etc. and how they intersect with literature in our discussion boards, panels, and conversations. Anyone of any political leaning is welcome to apply to join as long as you respect your fellow human beings and sign a commitment to no bigotry of any kind. No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, etc. will be tolerated and will result in your immediate banning from this group.
