2019 - 2020 Youth in Philanthropy Junior Board Application
Looking to take your experience in philanthropy to the next level as a young person living or learning in the MetroWest region of Boston? If so, then apply to join the Youth in Philanthropy Junior Board today!

Functioning just like a nonprofit board, the YIP Junior Board offers past participants of the YIP program opportunities to engage in philanthropy and social entrepreneurship while serving on an all-student run youth nonprofit board. This board supports the work of the Foundation for MetroWest through the avenue of Youth in Philanthropy, while igniting unique leadership opportunities within your community.

If you are interested in applying to join the board during the 2019-2020 term, please complete the application below by Friday, June 7 at 5 PM. You must be entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade to be eligible.

Once the Jr. Board has reviewed all applications you will be notified by Wednesday, June 12 if you have made the second and final round of consideration, which is a face-to-face interview (video interview is acceptable if schedule conflicts with available face-to-face time slots). Interviews will take place June 17 - July 12 and the Jr. Board Leadership Team will work with you to schedule your interview if accepted to the second round. Final decisions will be made by July 22 and board acceptance materials are due by August 1.

If you should have any questions regarding your application, please contact Alex Wojcik, Secretary of the Jr. Board, at
