info@katarassp.net“Katara Space Science Program-KSSP”, targeting students, researchers, Institutions and community members, with an exciting new initiative dedicated to advancing space science education and promote scientific research, in cooperation with a group of space scientists and space agencies from around the world.
Participation Guidelines
- All Schools and Universities in the State of Qatar are invited
to participate.
- Qatar Residents and Citizen are invited to participate.
- Each school nominates 2 Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) projects. Each project can have
a Team of up to 5 students.
- Individual Participants to propose 1 STEM project. The Individual participant can form a Team of up to 3 members to present the project.
- Theme of the Project: The main themes of the science models
should revolve around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with
focus on any of the topics like space exploration, science models and AI
technology, Models related to space travel, Planetary systems, robotics,
machine learning, and more.
- Awards and Competitions: There will be various competitions held during the
Katara Astro Fair, including best overall science model, most innovative
design, and best use of technology. Students will have the opportunity to
present their models to a panel of judges and compete for exciting awards and prizes.
- Prizes & Certificates: Prizes will be awarded to the winners
of each competition, including gift cards, science kits, and other exciting
rewards. Additionally, all participants will receive a certificate of
participation to recognize their hard work and dedication.
- Dedicated Space: The participating school and individuals will be provided with
the followings:
- Dedicated space of about 2
x 2 meters to represent their school
- Each School shall be provided with 2 Tables of 1.0 x 1.8 meter
to showcase their projects
- Each individual Team shall be provided with 1 Table of 1.0 x 1.8 meter to showcase their project
- Backdrop will be
provided by the organizers. The schools/Individuals can plan to organize and decorate their
stands to best suit their requirements.
- For any other requirements
related to the Project, please write to the KSSP Team and we shall be pleased
to help.
- The schools/individuals can display
additional posters about the project, or anything to add educational values for
the visitors.
- The school can use their
branding to decorate their stand

- Participation is FREE.

October 2024
Other details regarding the exhibit of the
projects shall be shared with the participating Schools.
