Our mission is to provide answers to consumer questions about fairness and equity in the marketplace (fuel dispensers, scales, package labeling, vehicles for hire, method of sales, and package net contents).  John Quincy Adams stated In 1821 that "Weights and Measures was a necessity of life" but local government officials failed to understand the economic impact of not having a local weights and measures program, to insure that trade is fair and equitable, has on their constituents ability to survive.
